Moving on out

Had lunch with the ex-SingTel folks who work in Shenton earlier, Jeannie is moving out of the area so we had one final lunch with her at 8 Shenton Way.

Michael swung by to pass us his wedding invites, I was so tickled when I saw his church insert, there was a photo from his photoshoot of him and Gen holding hands, under a giant tree and looking up at the sky. Hong Wei told Michael they looked like they were waiting for durians to drop!

It had been a while since we had a high attendance rate for one of these gatherings, the only person missing was Desmond but we'll all see each other next at Mike's wedding, maybe head for drinks after...I need to decide what to wear!

Earlier this evening we heard the sickening sound of screeching tyres on the highway again, followed by a crash. When we looked out the window, we saw a car slumped on the kerb below the slope leading to the ECP, it was facing the wrong direction so perhaps the driver skidded and u-turned. He seemed to be alright but an ambulance was called before the car was eventually towed.
