It's been 3 nights in a row that Natalie has not had continuous sleep. On Monday morning I had to have a cup of coffee to perk me up and I think I will need another one later today. I'm not usually a coffee drinker, only when absolutely necessary but the rugrat is forcing me to down lattes and mochas.
On Monday night, Mummy offered to take the night shift after seeing how tired me and Nick were, and Natalie disturbed Ma at 4.30 and 6.45 am. Last night, we put her in our room - she went to bed at 1 am, woke up at 4 and again at 6.15. Sigh...all that progress down the drain.
Will have to evaluate her routine and re-adjust her body clock. I tried feeding her extra in the evening in the hope that she would be full enough to last the night, but to no avail. She has her own time and target...I need to read more chapters in The Baby Whisperer book and get her onto a routine pronto!

No worries on baby's waking up in the middle of your sleep. It's a transition she will go through. Sometimes it's hunger or discomfort. The normal sleep through for a baby starts when he/she turns to 6 or 8 months old.
Maybe, try to give her a little warm bath 1 hr before she has her last milk bottle.
Takes time. My baby girl learnt to sleep through the night when she is 1 yr old. So that depends on individual babies.

Thanks for your advice and encouragement...have pinpointed it to a hunger issue so I have increased her day feeds, seems to be working for now...slept 5+ hours the last 2 nights...understand babies go thru growth spurts so will just have to adjust her intake during those spells! how are you?
well, life's fine.. only exams are tough as im having my midyear exams now.. so just the usual studying till late night to remember everything.. haha.. madness.. i have a new cousin har? Natalie ryt?? she looks so cute!! i saw her pics on ur blog.. hoping to see her 1 day..
